SURF

Tiree has 46 miles of coastline and most of it is white sandy beaches. Swell hits the island undisturbed from the deep Atlantic which is why Tiree or the ‘Hawaii of the North’ is so popular with surfers. You can learn to surf at any age and Tiree is the perfect place for the whole family to get involved.

SUBMERGE

SUPing, kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, snorkelling, fishing and pier jumping.

Tiree is the place to submerge yourself into the clear waters and get wet. With empty waves and so many beautiful beaches to choose from, its the ideal place to try a sport for the first time and avoid any crowds on or in the water.

BIKE

Tiree mainly flat landscape mean it’s a dream for cycling. Bikes can be hired from a number of places on the island and we would be happy to help you arrange this.

GET OUT THERE

Pull on those trainers and hit the Tiree Ultra Marathon course (the entire coastline of the island) or perhaps the annual 10k course.

If running is not your thing, a gentle amble along a beach (why not discover a new one each day) can be just as rewarding.

Mindfulness just seems to take care of itself on Tiree, you just need to pull on those shoes and breathe away any stresses.
